Home / Safety / Operational Risk and Resilience Accreditation (ORRA) Program Operational Risk and Resilience Accreditation (ORRA) Program Focused on Risk-Based Operational Excellence. ORRA Program Update Vertical Aviation International (VAI) is transitioning away from the Operational Risk and Resilience Accreditation (ORRA) Program as we shift toward a broader, more industry-aligned approach to advancing safety across vertical aviation. Effective January 12, 2026, VAI is no longer accepting new operator applications. ORRA Legacy Standards Remain Available We recognize that our members may want to access the ORRA Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for internal safety reviews. ORRA’s legacy SARPs remain valid as reference material and may continue to be used for self-assessment and gap analyses. Members may download ORRA program documents for their records and continued internal by clicking on the links below: ORRA Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) Guide ORRA Implementation Guide What Comes Next VAI will conduct a gap analysis of the current safety standards and recommended practices soon. The results of this work will be shared with VAI members and will inform our next steps focused on practical, consensus-based recommended practices that deliver tangible value across all segments of the vertical aviation industry. For questions related to ORRA materials or next steps, please contact VAI at safety@verticalavi.org.
