The FAA is seeking comments by May 5 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would require updating the airworthiness limitations section of the existing maintenance manual or the instructions for continued airworthiness. It would also require updating the existing maintenance or inspection program, if applicable, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency AD.

This European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) airworthiness directive (AD), ATA 53–Fuselage–Main Gearbox Suspension Bar Fittings and Screws–Life Limit/Replacement/Modification, takes effect Mar. 26, 2025. It revises AD 2023-0194, released Nov. 8, 2023, which superseded AD 2018-0260, dated Dec. 3, 2018.
