The International Business Aviation Council is bringing a record number of 30 delegates to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) 42nd Assembly, which takes place Sep. 23–Oct. 3 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Topics will include advanced air mobility (AAM), low-carbon aviation fuels, and sound regulations.

A delegation from the Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) signed an agreement with Boeing to work together on advanced air mobility and aviation sustainability during a visit to Washington, D.C.

The United Kingdom (UK) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has released plans for a regulatory framework to support commercial electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft operations starting in 2028.

The FAA is accepting comments until Nov. 6 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would require modifying an affected window into a serviceable window. It would also prohibit installing an affected window on any helicopter modified with Supplemental Type Certificate SR00223IB, released Mar. 18, 2024.
