VAI Daily Sep. 16, 2025 Final FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters Deutschland EC135 series, EC635 T2+, and certain BK 117 models This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which applies to the EC135 P1, P2/P2+, P3, T1, T2/T2+, T3, EC635 T2+, and Airbus/MBB BK 117 C-2, D-2, and D-3, takes effect Oct. 21. It requires operators to determine the total cycles of certain hoist-boom assemblies, inspect those assemblies, and take corrective action, if necessary.
