McDermott helicopters return home after fighting fires in Greece

A Boeing 747 airplane transported six McDermott Aviation heavy-lift firefighting helicopters—two Bell 214STs and four Bell 214Bs—from the European country to various locations in Australia. Four of the company’s firefighting aircraft remain in Greece.

Airbus delivers H160 to Hiroshima City Fire Services Bureau

When the helicopter enters service early next year, the Japanese operator will become the first in the world to use the bucket-equipped H160 for firefighting. Hiroshima will also use the H160 for search-and-rescue, emergency medical, and disaster response missions.
