(WBRC) – A Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane crew replaced a cooling tower Jan. 15 at Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport (KBHM).

The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is sharing details about an Oct. 4, 2024, operation using a helicopter crew to remove a rooftop pedestal at the Neil A. Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base, California. The pedestal held a telemetry dish that scientists used from 1950–2015.
