Landing in an Unfamiliar Spot? Know Before You Go!

In our first spotlight for 2021, we thank Rex Alexander, President at Five-Alpha LLC, for reminding all operators to do their homework before landing at any “heliport.” The key point for all of us to remember is that just because a landing area may have some markings that appear legitimate, does not imply it meets prescribed standards, the authority having jurisdiction said it was safe, it’s a legal location to land, or you have permission to land. #heliport #helicoptersafety #helicopterlanding
