Take the High Road when Operations Permit – Fly Above them All!

This week’s spotlight is right in time for Drone Safety Awareness Week! In this video, Robert Lakind, HAI Safety Working Group member, offers some simple advice to fellow helicopter pilots: take the high road and cruise at higher altitudes – well above 1000 AGL when possible – to dramatically reduce the odds of crossing paths with an unmanned aircraft system (UAS, or drone).
