Resource Hub ROTOR Daily will relaunch as VAI Daily on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Thank you for subscribing to ROTOR Daily. In order to upgrade our website, software, and production processes, we’re limiting the publication of our daily e-newsletter until Tuesday, Oct. 1. On that day, we invite you to read “VAI Daily,” our newly rebranded news aggregator that aligns with our Vertical Aviation International name and branding. Don’t worry, we’ll still provide all the news you’ve come to expect from us—just with a new name. We post all the relevant news we can find by our daily deadline and aim to distribute the e-newsletter at 12:00 pm eastern (UTC-4) each business day. Since the majority of our subscribers are in the United States, the newsletter arrives just in time to read the day’s stories while enjoying lunch on the East Coast or during a midmorning break on the West Coast. Regardless of when you receive it, you can read the publication whenever you have time. We feel that distributing our e-newsletter in the middle of the day provides more flexibility to capture a given day’s news. We often receive news releases during the morning hours here in Virginia, which allows us to include the morning’s important stories. Often, we’ll scramble to add a late-arriving story at the last minute because we know it’s important for our members to hear about it as soon as possible. We also publish more content than other news sources that cover the vertical aviation industry. VAI, formerly Helicopter Association International, made a commitment to share daily industry news with our members many years ago, so we don’t limit the number of stories we publish each day. If we believe a story could be important to even a small segment of our readership, we include it. And to top it off, this is a free service offered to anyone who follows or enjoys the vertical aviation industry. And, as a television pitchman once said, “Free is a very good price!” In addition, we don’t charge VAI members to include their content in the VAI Member News section.
