Final FAA AD: Airbus H160-B helicopters

The FAA is seeking comments on this airworthiness directive (AD) by May 27, 2025. It will supersede AD 2024-26-01, issued Jan. 2, 2025, which requires measuring the axial play of the rotating scissors spherical bearings. The new AD revises the initial compliance time, extends the definition of an affected part to all serial-numbered rotating scissors spherical bearings, extends the reporting requirements, and requires repetitive inspections. The updated AD takes effect Apr. 25, 2025.
