The Albanese government has inked a $313.5 million maintenance contract with Sikorsky Australia, a Lockheed Martin company, including through-life support services for 23 MH-60Rs.

The air medical provider is honoring Elizabeth Peebles, who started flying in 2003 and quickly found her way into helicopters, as part of the annual celebration of female aviators, which takes place next week, Mar. 3–9.

The European Union–funded project, MUSHER (manned–unmanned teaming system for helicopters), seeks to develop a future framework for interoperability in Europe. The project includes an Airbus H130 flying lab and a VSR700 unmanned reconnaissance helicopter.

Archer Aviation is on track to deliver its first revenue-generating Midnight electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft during 2025, the company noted in its financial results for 2024.

Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) is the first operator in Archer’s Launch Edition program, which will establish a playbook for commercialization in advance of the FAA’s certification of the Midnight electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
