Boeing has obtained a US Army foreign military sales contract valued at nearly $4.7 billion to produce AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for international operators, including 96 units for the Polish Armed Forces.

This FAA airworthiness directive, which takes effect Dec. 30, will supersede AD 2021-26-07, issued Dec. 23, 2021. The new AD would retain the actions of the existing AD while adding a requirement to modify the link of the tail-rotor hub body. The new AD also requires inspections of the red paint line added during the modification for alignment.
