Casey Botts joins the company, which is exhibiting at Booth #5117 during next week’s VERTICON 2025, after working 15 years at Bell Flight.

This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which requires replacing the aluminum central-firewall stiffener with a titanium stiffener, takes effect Apr. 11, 2025. It also prohibits the installation of an aluminum stiffener.

The US Army Center of Excellence has awarded a contract to the training providers as part of the US Army FAA Part 141 Helicopter Flight School Program based in Marina, Florida. The program will provide pilots with civilian flight training using the TH-66 Sage—a military variant of the Robinson R66—before they advance to military helicopter training.

The OEM will display a Peoria (Arizona) Police Department Bell 505, a Global Medical Response Bell 407GXi, a QuickTrip Bell 429, a Kern Country (California) Subaru Bell 412EPX, and a Bell 525 in an offshore configuration. Bell is at Booth #10053 during the event, which starts Monday (exhibits open Mar. 11–13) in Dallas, Texas.

The helicopter OEM has agreed to establish a joint venture with the Turkish drone maker to develop a range of unmanned aircraft systems.
