VAI Daily Jan. 17, 2025 Philippine Air Force receives 10 S-70i Black Hawks Lockheed Martin delivered five of the Sikorsky helicopters to the Philippine Department of National Defense in June 2024 and five in December 2024. The deliveries are part of a contract for 32 helicopters, with the remaining 22 scheduled to enter service over the next two years. The FAA is accepting comments on the proposal through Feb. 3. VAI Daily Jan. 17, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus AS350 and AS355 series helicopters The FAA is seeking comments by Feb. 3 on a proposed airworthiness directive (AD) that would require modifying certain upper-rail rollers and installing a label on each sliding door. It would also prohibit installing affected upper-rail rollers or a door with an affected upper-rail roller.
