It requires Bell 505 operators to install a grommet around the sump drain port-fitting airframe hole after investigators discovered fuel leakage during fuel system crash-impact testing. VAI Daily Sep. 16, 2024 FAA seeks comments on eVTOL vertiport design standards The FAA’s Office of Airports is seeking comments through Oct. 18 on an engineering brief update on vertiport design that will provide interim standards for aviation facilities with electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
