VAI Daily Aug. 21, 2024 Final FAA AD: Bell 412, 412CF, and 412EP helicopters The FAA is seeking comments by Oct. 4 on this airworthiness directive (AD), which takes effect on Sep. 4, 2024. It is an expansion of an existing AD (2000-18-09), which requires inspecting the upper left-hand cap angle for cracks, to include new models, updated procedures, an additional part-numbered cap angle, a reduction in the inspection intervals, and revised reporting requirements.
