The suspect allegedly shot Rocky twice before officers returned fire, and a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) helicopter transported the dog to a local animal hospital. VAI Daily Jan. 17, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus SA 341G and SA 342J helicopters This proposed FAA airworthiness directive (AD) would require repetitively inspecting the inclined and horizontal driveshaft flanges and, depending on the results, replacing them. The FAA is accepting comments on the proposal through Feb. 3. VAI Daily Jan. 17, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus AS350 and AS355 series helicopters The FAA is seeking comments by Feb. 3 on a proposed airworthiness directive (AD) that would require modifying certain upper-rail rollers and installing a label on each sliding door. It would also prohibit installing affected upper-rail rollers or a door with an affected upper-rail roller. These actions are also specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency AD.
