AAM Institute releases 2025 Biennial Report

Expanding Global Impact & Achieving New Milestones in 2025 Biennial Report

Willemstad, Curaçao – May 27, 2025 The Advanced Air Mobility Institute has officially released its 2025 Biennial Report, detailing the Institute’s first 24 months of extraordinary growth, global engagement, and impact in clean, sustainable air mobility. As a mission-driven nonprofit, the AAM Institute continues to break new ground in research, education, and international collaboration, accelerating the responsible integration of aviation.

“The Biennial Report reflects the dedication and talent of our volunteers, as well as the faith placed in us by stakeholders around the world,” explained Jim Ives, Executive Vice President of the Institute (currently serving as Acting President during Founder Dan Sloat’s paternity leave). “We are proving that a small, committed team can catalyze global change. As we enter 2025, we’re focused on strategic growth, workforce development, and creating lasting impact through collaborative action.”

The report highlights impressive metrics including:

  • A 570% increase in event participation
  • 400+ total event participants
  • A doubling in institutional engagement from academia, government, and industry
  • Launches of cornerstone publications such as the Veterans within AAM, First Responders Within AAM, and the semi-annual Global AAM Forum Summary Report

At the heart of the Institute’s efforts lies its commitment to sustainability, human dignity, global accessibility, and public awareness. Through its Research Council, Academic Symposium, Industry Roundtable, Board of Liaisons, and the upcoming Pulitzer Electric Aircraft Race, the organization has continued to unite experts across disciplines to shape policy, foster education, and provide technical thought leadership.

“This past year has shown the strength of our global community and the value of collective action,” said Amin Vafadar, Institute Executive Director. “With nearly 80 nations represented across our volunteer base, we are advancing air mobility through collaboration, expertise, and shared purpose. Our advisors, scholars, and liaisons continue to foster public trust and acceptance by championing sustainable aviation solutions that serve communities, protect human rights, and promote equitable access to innovation.”

With transparency and ethics as guiding principles, the AAM Institute remains committed to its role as a steward of advanced aviation technologies, ensuring their deployment serves the broadest public good. The full 2025 Biennial Report is available at www.aaminstitute.org.
