FAA safety risk management panel continues Safety implications of visual separation ban reviewed. The FAA is continuing its review of the safety implications of its recent order banning the use of visual separation between helicopters or powered-lift aircraft and airplanes in Class B and Class C airspace and in terminal radar service areas (TRSAs). VAI is participating in the Mar. 24–26 safety risk management panel as a subject-matter expert. We recognize the magnitude of these regulatory changes on operations, and we are committed to representing you and your concerns as the aviation ecosystem continues to evolve. VAI will continue to advocate for airspace rules that increase efficiency and maintain the highest standards of safety.
