King Schools releases updated drone pilot course

The course features new video lessons, updated test questions, and access to the King Schools Test Prep App.

Commercial drone pilot applicants now have access to an updated King Schools course to prepare for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate exam, with the release of Version 3.0 of their Drone Pilot Ground School & Test Prep Course.

This refreshed course builds on King Schools’ decades of experience helping pilots succeed, offering a more intuitive and entertaining way to master the material required to pass the FAA Unmanned Aircraft General – Small (UAG) test.

John Dowding is a new instructor on the Drone Test Prep Course v3.

“Since early 2017 when the first version of the King Drone course was released, pilots have been acing their exams and telling us how happy they are with the course,” said Barry Knuttila, CEO and co-owner of King Schools. “Having sold thousands of drone courses, we’ve received many suggestions over the years and version 3.0 delivers on what customers asked for. There are nearly 30 new video lessons, 50+ updated FAA-style practice questions, and refreshed animations and graphics that bring the material to life. The course is built from the perspective of a drone operator who’s work depends on understanding and navigating drones safely within the national airspace system.”

Version 3.0 includes:

  • Video lessons featuring John & Martha King, Barry Knuttila, and John Dowding, VP of Course Development.
  • FAA-style practice questions, flash cards and sample tests with automatic review features.
  • Full mobile access through the King Schools Test Prep App.
  • The KING Guarantee: Pass your FAA test or get your money back and keep the course.

Designed to simplify the complexities of drone regulations and aviation knowledge, the course includes essential subject areas such as:

  • FAA Part 107 Regulations
  • Aerodynamics
  • Sectional Charts
  • Airspace
  • Weather
  • Communications
  • Flight Operations
  • LAANC

Students study in bite-sized lessons (each under 15 minutes) and learn at their own convenience. Most students complete the course in 15–17 hours of total study time.

Barry concluded: “For those worried about difficult textbooks or confusing regulations, King Schools has a reputation for making it fun and easy to understand. With full-screen HD video, engaging animations, and a conversational tone, students enjoy a personal and effective learning experience that feels more like a private lesson than a lecture.”

The course is available now for $129 and includes immediate lifetime access upon purchase. https://KingSchools.com/drone-pilot-license-test-prep-course

All current King Schools Drone course customers have already been automatically upgraded to Version 3.0.
