Members of Vertical Aviation International (VAI), formerly Helicopter Association International (HAI), who participate in USAIG’s Performance Vector program could receive up to $2,500 per policy year in subsidies to cover all or part of the cost of participating in the association’s Operational Risk and Resilience Accreditation (ORRA) program.

Designed to meet the diverse needs of small, medium-sized, and large operators, ORRA provides a robust framework for managing risk and improving operational processes. VAI introduced ORRA in March at HAI HELI-EXPO 2024, and the industry response was outstanding. USAIG’s announcement is another demonstration of support for ORRA and its benefits.

“We’re happy to announce that USAIG is supporting our ORRA program,” says VAI President and CEO James Viola. “That USAIG—an expert in managing risk—sees the value in ORRA is a testament to the program’s ability to deliver measurable results to helicopter operators.”

VAI has teamed up with VLinc Corp., a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, to provide coaching to help operators in the ORRA program stay on a clear path of process improvement.
