When ROTOR Daily switches to become VAI Daily next week, it will mostly be to better align our daily news aggregator with our association’s recently updated brand as Vertical Aviation International (formerly Helicopter Association International). If you enjoy reading ROTOR Daily now, you’ll enjoy reading VAI Daily, we’re certain! In addition to branding changes, we also have technical issues we’re currently addressing in preparing VAI’s new website, which we will debut soon. We use our website as a storage location for all the stories we post daily in our newsletter. We then use a WordPress newsletter tool to extract this content and place it in the correct format. Finally, we transfer this formatted content to a program that issues emails to assigned distribution lists. Because these programs must work closely together, we need extra time to ensure the integration works properly. Hence the smaller issues of ROTOR Daily this week and this coming Monday. We hope you will enjoy VAI Daily when it launches Tuesday, Oct. 1!
