With new ownership and management, MD Helicopters is working hard to capture new customers and retain existing ones. One repeat buyer is the Huntington Beach (California) Police Department, which recently acquired three MD 530Fs. The first, on a pre-delivery flight, was photographed by Mark Bennett as it banked over a highway north of the manufacturer’s plant in Mesa, Arizona.
