It also requires repetitively performing a flight under specific conditions, as well as an inspection of the grease on the swashplate bearing. VAI Daily Jul. 1, 2025 Final FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters Deutschland EC135 series and EC635 T2+ This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which takes effect Jul. 17, requires a visual inspection of the ball pivot, a fluorescent penetrant inspection of the control rod, and a visual inspection and measurement of certain parts of the yaw-actuator assembly. The AD also prohibits installing an affected part unless certain requirements are met.
