United Rotorcraft, Skyryse partner on Airbus, Sikorsky upgrades

(PR Newswire) – United Rotorcraft, a division of Air Methods, is teaming up on installations of Skyryse’s SkyOS digital operating system on the Airbus H125, H130, and Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Under the agreement, United Rotorcraft will also provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the Skyryse One.

This European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) airworthiness directive (AD), ATA 25–Equipment/Furnishings–Rescue Hoist Cable Drum–Inspection, takes effect Mar. 25. It applies to the EC135 P1, P2, P2+, P3, T1, T2, T2+, and T3; EC635 P2+, P3, T1, T2+, and T3; and MBB BK 117 C-2 and D-2.
