This FAA airworthiness directive (AD) takes effect Oct. 30. It requires repetitive inspections of the main-gearbox right-hand and left-hand center and rear rail-support assemblies, with corrective actions being taken if necessary. The FAA is accepting comments about the AD through Dec. 1.
