FAA AD: Airbus H160-B helicopters

This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which requires measuring the axial play of the rotating scissors spherical bearings as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency AD, takes effect Jan. 17, 2025. The FAA is accepting public comments through Feb. 18, 2025.

FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters Deutschland/MBB BK 117 C-2 helicopters

The FAA is seeking comments by Feb. 18, 2025, on an airworthiness directive (AD) that requires repetitively inspecting the bolted joint between the cardan-pivot joint assembly and the tail-rotor actuator piston rod. The AD becomes effective Jan. 17, 2025. It is related to emergency AD 2024-25-51, which was issued Dec. 12, 2024.
