(WBTS) – A US Army National Guard helicopter crew assisted the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department with airlifting a hiker who reported having frozen limbs Dec. 19 near the summit of Little Haystack Mountain in Grafton County.

(WANE) – Indiana Michigan Power is contracting Rotor Blade to remove branches near power lines with a helicopter tree-trimming saw this week in Allen County.

(WPMT) – A STAT MedEvac helicopter crew flew Santa to visit sick children at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center hospital Dec. 19 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

This proposed FAA airworthiness directive (AD) would require installing an electrical bonding braid modification and prohibit the installation of a certain part-numbered searchlight unless the modification is complete. The FAA is seeking public comments on the proposal through Feb. 25, 2025.

Leonardo delivered the first of seven AW139s to LifeFlight’s base in Toowoomba, Queensland, on Dec. 19. The helicopter joins a fleet that also supports residents of Brisbane, Bundaberg, Mount Isa, and Sunshine Coast.

(CBS News) – The FAA has issued a ban on most drones over nearly two dozen towns and infrastructure sites in the two northeastern US states. The ban, which is effective through Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, comes after residents reported a wave of mysterious drones flying over East Coast states.
