FAA publishes helicopter air ambulance operations data for 2023

The FAA has released official statistics for helicopter air ambulance operations during 2023. Out of 65 operators reporting the transportation of more than 385,000 patients, the year saw six accidents. Two of the accidents resulted in fatalities, and three resulted in injuries.
