The FAA is seeking comments by Aug. 11 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would supersede AD 2021-26-07, issued Dec. 23, 2021. The new AD would retain the required inspections from the existing AD while adding a requirement to modify the link of the tail-rotor hub body using red paint marks to identify any loss of tightening torque.

The FAA is withdrawing an airworthiness directive (AD) published Mar 13, 2025, after further testing demonstrated that the non-compliant rate of porosity in certain high-pressure turbine blades does not affect their service life.
