Longtime air ambulance captain transitions to pilot training

Dave Surtees, an East Anglian Air Ambulance captain who has flown helicopters for more than 40 years, conducted his last flight with the charity Jun. 21 ahead of reaching the United Kingdom’s age limit of 65 for commercial air transport pilots. Surtees will now focus on training air medical pilots for Babcock International Group.
