(China Daily) – According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the country’s low-altitude economy will reach 1.5 trillion yuan (US$210 billion) this year and rise to 3.5 trillion yuan (US$492 billion) by 2035.

The US Department of Transportation introduced the FAA’s eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) Integration Pilot Program on Sep. 12. The initiative will develop “new frameworks and regulations for enabling safe operations” and form partnerships with private sector companies and state and local governments.
