FAA, US DOT select pair of new test sites for UAS program

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) and the FAA announced Jan. 8 that the two new unmanned aircraft system (UAS) test sites will be located at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the Indiana Economic Development Corp. in Indianapolis. They will join seven existing UAS test sites in Alaska, North Dakota, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Texas, and Virginia.
