(AIN) – The Indian Air Force (IAF) has launched an investigation into how a Mil Mi-17 helicopter crew dropped a Leonardo AW119 on Sep. 7 during a shuttle operation after the AW119 broke down in the Uttarakhand mountains.

(9News.com/au) – A helicopter crew airlifted six people, including a 2-month-old baby, from a tractor that got stuck in a flooded river Sep. 7 near Ikamatua, South Island.

The FAA has issued a correction to its April 2024 final rule that incorporates certain airman certification standards (ACSs) and practical test standards into the certification requirements for pilots, flight instructors, flight engineers, aircraft dispatchers, and parachute riggers. The FAA is seeking comments through Oct. 9 for this information collection, which involves the requirement for helicopter air ambulance operators to report certain information to the agency.
